Our take on Time Treker
The bounce point arrives during build planning: players must choose between three pilots, three combat archetypes, and a large pool of weapons and attachments before repeated mission attempts. Those seeking a simpler action loop may find the customization and retry structure demanding.
What is Time Treker?
Time Treker is a sci-fi action game about sending elite forces back to Earth before its collapse.
Players select one of three pilots, each with different statistics and a unique skill, then choose among three mecha archetypes: sword dancer, rocket sniper, or thunder master. Mecha can be customized with more than 10 weapons, 15 attachments, and additional items. Battles involve fighting large enemy groups while completing exploration, annihilation, and defense missions. Experience gained during combat is used to develop skills, while achievements and base improvements provide additional progression. The campaign centers on repeated attempts to find a timeline in which humanity can stop the war and save Earth.

Time Treker compared to similar games
Time Treker centers on customizable mecha combat, repeated timeline attempts, and missions involving exploration, annihilation, and defense. Abyssus is a multiplayer roguelite shooter with hand-crafted levels, brine-powered weapons, and weapon refitting through ancient technologies. The other listed alternatives focus on climbing, third-person shooting, running and jumping, or metroidvania exploration rather than this mecha-build mission structure.
