Our take on TIME BREAKER
The store emphasis on unusual atmosphere and time control may make the game sound like a broad narrative adventure. Its stated structure is narrower: repeated puzzle rooms, limited steps, and a short time-slowing ability, with the story carried through laboratory exploration and collected papers.
What is TIME BREAKER?
Explore Naera Laboratory as Judy in a first-person puzzle game built around time control.
Each room presents a puzzle that requires choosing when to slow time, while the ability lasts only a few seconds. Movement is also constrained by a step limit that varies with the selected difficulty. Five settings are available: No Stress, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Very Hard; No Stress removes the step limit and provides more time dilation.
The narrative follows Judy’s search for what happened at the facility, the documents left behind, and Anna, described as the last surviving scientist. Progress leads through the laboratory toward an attempt to rescue Anna and escape. The game also includes a brutalist setting, narrated audio, ray-traced reflections, ambient occlusion, and Nvidia DLSS support.
