Our take on Tick Tock Isle
The game places a family’s dysfunction alongside a damaged clock as part of the central problem. Instead of separating platforming from narrative, it ties the attempt to repair the time machine to interactions with the people connected to it.
What is Tick Tock Isle?
Strike, a young clock specialist from 20XX, is sent into the past while working on a deserted clock tower.
Getting back to the future means repairing the time machine and resolving problems with the island family whose actions contributed to the tower’s damage. Tick Tock Isle blends platforming and puzzles with a story, conversations with characters, creative problem-solving, and poking. Strike works to restore the machinery while dealing with the family issues tied to the island. Kevin Carville composed the music and sound effects.
