The Zone simulates FPV quadcopter flying for freestyle drills, trick development, and online sessions.
Its physics are based on a five-inch quad, while the available location recreates the developer’s regular flying area. Flight characteristics can be adjusted by changing mass and power. A server can host as many as 32 pilots. During flight, a picture-in-picture view can display several participants, or the view can switch to full screen. Only one location is included at present.
Planned additions include more real-world sites, a map-building tool, Steam Workshop integration, drift vehicles, and further aircraft types. Play requires either a gamepad or an RC aircraft transmitter. The developer estimates roughly 2–5 hours for learning the fundamentals and 10–20 hours before achieving precise control. It is presented as a practice simulator rather than a title intended for immediate, casual play.
