Our take on The Walking Trade
The defining structure is the collision of retail management and physical zombie defense: shop layout, staffing, prices, and reputation continue alongside raids that require direct combat.
What is The Walking Trade?
Run a store during a zombie apocalypse by arranging shelves, setting prices, and balancing available space with appearance and practical use.
Trade items such as batteries, craft weapons and tools, and expand the shop with stations, storage, barricades, and traps. Customers and undead attacks create competing demands: survivors can serve shoppers, search for supplies, or protect the premises. During raids and hordes, direct combat uses melee weapons, firearms, or improvised equipment. Choices also shape the shop’s reputation, including whether to support nearby communities, raise prices, or sabotage settlements for profit. The game combines store management, survivor assignments, crafting, construction, and defensive action within an apocalyptic setting.
