Our take on Last Wood
The defining structure is a colony of survivors living and traveling on interconnected rafts across a largely submerged world.
What is Last Wood?
Last Wood is an oceanic survival colony simulation set after an apocalypse that submerged most continents.
Guide several survivors as they build and expand rafts, secure water, food, and shelter, and develop crafting skills and technology. Farming at sea, fishing, collecting rainwater, and scavenging generated islands support the colony. Survivors have different histories, traits, and specialties, and may form relationships or have offspring. Threats include animals, raiders, deep ones, and krakens, which can be faced with traps, equipment, and strategy. Travel uses paddles, sails, and rudders. Exploration reaches old-world ruins, mysterious shrines, lost technology, and events such as storms, hailstones, joining survivors, and fishing up treasure.

Last Wood compared to similar games
Last Wood combines ocean-based raft construction, survivor management, sailing, and island exploration. Mr. Prepper focuses on building an underground shelter and resisting an authoritarian government, while Last Wood centers on a mobile sea colony.
