Our take on The Territory of Egg
The defining structure is the retreat decision after defeating an enemy lord: secure the gathered loot, or continue fighting and choose a random evolution for the next challenge.
What is The Territory of Egg?
The Territory of Egg combines tower defense with roguelite progression.
Command egg warriors by placing 6 basic egg types and 20 advanced types in defensive positions, matching their strengths to different enemies and terrain. Advanced eggs offer 6 possible skills, but each can learn no more than 3. Battles include enemies with special traits, including invisible and ethereal foes that require suitable abilities. After defeating enemy lords, choose whether to leave with collected loot or continue the fight and select one of three random evolutions. Resources gathered during levels unlock abilities in a Tech Tree, while a minimalist art style frames the battlefield.
