Our take on The Plucky Squire
The defining structure is its movement between the flat pages of a storybook and a three-dimensional world outside them, with Jot’s displacement from the book driving the adventure.
What is The Plucky Squire?
The Plucky Squire follows Jot and other storybook characters after they discover a three-dimensional world beyond their book.
When Humgrump, the story’s villain, forces Jot out of the pages and alters the tale, Jot must find a way to rescue his friends and restore its happy ending. Gameplay moves between 2D and 3D realms, combining puzzle solving with action sequences and varied mini-challenges. These include boxing badgers, using a jetpack, and facing other unexpected situations. The adventure is structured around a living storybook whose characters and setting extend beyond the page.
