Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a long-form story may reach the end of the short story mode quickly

- Players who want a slower pace may struggle when multiple disturbances become active and containment can fail
Our take on The Overseer
The bounce point arrives when several disturbances become active at once: reports must identify both the affected room and anomaly type while mistakes increase breach pressure. Players who want unlimited time to inspect each feed may hit that containment system first.
What is The Overseer?
The Overseer is a supernatural threat-monitoring game centered on live camera feeds.
Players move between several cameras on each of four distinct levels, looking for altered objects, changed lighting, and appearing entities. When an anomaly is found, the affected room and anomaly type are selected from a menu so containment equipment can be deployed. Correct reports restore stability, while mistakes bring the threat closer to breaching control. Anomalies are randomized between shifts, requiring sustained attention and memory. Too many active disturbances can cause containment systems to fail. The game includes almost 400 anomalies, a short story mode, and modern graphics and lighting.
How The Overseer plays

- Several feeds on each level must be checked for moving objects, lighting changes, and entities.
- 02Anomaly Reporting
- Each incident is logged by choosing both its room and its type from a menu.
- 03Randomized Anomalies
- Changing disturbances make observation and memory part of each shift.
- 04Containment Pressure
- Incorrect reports and multiple active disturbances can cause containment systems to fail.
- 05Four Levels
- Each location has its own atmosphere and anomaly patterns.
- 06Short Story Mode
- The narrative follows the movement of an unusual subject to a Safe House.
