- Players looking for multiplayer sessions will not fit the single-player format.
Our take on The Lift
Players who need frequent mechanical variety may bounce off when progression centers on finding the next elevator button. The elevator-based structure keeps the journey focused on ascending through the floors while uncovering Max’s past.
What is The Lift?
The Lift is a first-person, single-player horror adventure about Max, a troubled teenager delivering pizza.
After arguing with his mother, Max enters an elevator while heading to a delivery on the 13th floor. The elevator becomes stuck between floors and later stops at the second floor. Max is then trapped and must find missing elevator buttons to reach each next floor. Letters and notes reveal the story as he ascends. The journey focuses on Max’s fears, his past, and the experiences that shape his future. Reaching the 13th floor is the central objective, where Max seeks to break free from his demons and view his life differently.
