Our take on The Last Act
Players looking for action will hit the wall at the visual novel format: Sarah’s investigation and romances unfold through story choices rather than combat or movement. Those avoiding romance-centered narratives may also bounce when the three relationship routes become part of the story.
What is The Last Act?
Sarah earns the starring role she has been pursuing, but strange paranormal incidents erupt inside the theater before the premiere.
As she prepares for the performance, she examines the venue’s hidden history alongside Silas, a ghost; Gavin, a detective; and Joshua, her doubtful fellow actor. Her decisions shape the plot and may result in several conclusions, including three possible romantic paths. The visual novel contains 35,000 words, 20 collectible illustrated CGs displayed in a gallery, nine illustrated location scenes, and a soundtrack with 12 tracks. Sarah must balance rehearsals with her investigation while seeking the source of the theater’s disturbing events and uncovering its concealed past.
