Our take on The Land of Dasthir
Rather than building its conflict around groups of ordinary enemies, the game makes every fight a boss encounter. Its compact setting and limited supplies further replace the expansive exploration and abundant resources common in adventure RPGs.
What is The Land of Dasthir?
Terret returns from Gailville to Ganzer Village after receiving a request for help.
The village headman explains that Terret’s uncle has disappeared and connects the case to the legend of the Red Dragoons and newly appearing monsters. Terret must travel through Dasthir, search for his uncle, and uncover the reason behind the creatures’ arrival. Combat uses one-on-one encounters, with bosses replacing standard enemies and requiring different tactics. Resources are limited, so their use affects the journey. The world is small and compact, while certain actions can alter how events conclude. The game also includes Steam achievements and trading cards.

The Land of Dasthir compared to similar games
