Our take on The Invisible Hours
The game departs from the usual detective viewpoint by making the player invisible. Instead of limiting observation to the investigator’s position, it places the player among the mansion’s events as an unseen witness who can follow different characters.
What is The Invisible Hours?
The Invisible Hours is a murder mystery set in a sprawling mansion where Nikola Tesla has been found dead.
A group of invited guests includes a blind butler, a convicted murderer, a famous actress, Tesla’s former assistant, a railroad magnate’s son, and rival inventor Thomas Edison. The player is invisible and can freely follow anyone in the story, observe events, explore the mansion, and search for hidden clues. The narrative contains multiple interwoven threads as the guests’ actions and motives unfold. The game can be played with or without a VR headset. Its structure centers on moving through the setting and witnessing the story from different positions while investigating the circumstances of Tesla’s murder.
