Our take on THE HOUCHI PLAY -THE 放置プレイ-
The main sticking point is the stop-and-go rule: movement must pause whenever a character faces Taro. Players who struggle to read those turns may also find the trigger-timing system demanding, since timing controls how quickly he advances.
What is THE HOUCHI PLAY -THE 放置プレイ-?
Move Taro Heibon toward cos-play characters while they look away, stopping whenever one turns to face him.
The stages use rules similar to Daruma-san ga koronda: watch each character’s movements and advance during the safe moments. Choose from 5 shops on the city map, select a character, and clear stage level 5 to win. Alternating the L and R triggers moves Taro, with timing affecting his speed. Clearing stages grants experience, and ability values can be adjusted on the map. Touching alcohol on a table starts a timed button event; 10 successful inputs raise Taro’s tension and increase his approach speed and the character’s likability. Characters become available in the Gallery after all stages are cleared.
