Our take on The Farmer's Story of Slow Life
Rather than centering its routine on farming alone, this game adds stamina and satiety management, scheduled shipping, and island expeditions with monsters. Its progression links ranch rebuilding and seasonal work to later trips beyond the island.
What is The Farmer's Story of Slow Life?
Play as the younger of two sisters rebuilding the ranch and town they inherited.
Grow seasonal crops, gather resources, fish in different locations, raise animals, and make food and items through cooking and blacksmithing. Stamina and satiety decrease as actions are performed; food, rest, the restaurant, and a mountain hot spring restore them. The day has scheduled routines, including an energy limit at 11:00 p. m. and produce collection at 5:00 p. m. Seasonal crops, changing scenery, and townspeople's requests vary the routine. As the story progresses and resources build up, expeditions to remote islands introduce monsters and additional items.
How The Farmer's Story of Slow Life plays
- 01Seasonal Crops
- Available crops vary by season, and some can produce another harvest without planting seeds again.
- 02Stamina and Satiety
- Both levels fall during activities and can be restored with food, rest, restaurant visits, or the hot spring.
- 03Remote Island Trips
- Later expeditions bring monsters and opportunities to find new items.
- 04Produce Shipping
- A pickup company collects goods at 5:00 p.m., with payment arriving the next morning if the character goes to bed earlier.
