The Fall of Gods is an indie action RPG inspired by 16-bit console games.
Players follow a young hero who enters the Sanctuary as part of a prophecy about magic returning and darkness rising from light. The story also concerns the origins of the world and the hero’s lost mother. Gameplay includes dungeon encounters, combat with different weapons, spellcasting, armor, item collection and swapping, puzzles, hidden locations, side quests, fairy fountains, potion brewing, and balloon travel. The game presents these activities with orchestral music and an ironic tone while the hero investigates the meaning of the gods’ fall.
