Our take on The Ethereal Dream
Instead of making exorcism a direct action challenge, the game places investigation and relationships at the center of its supernatural mystery. Daytime information gathering and nighttime events replace a single fixed adventure path.
What is The Ethereal Dream?
Set in eighteenth-century Europe, this otome visual novel follows a church novice assigned to a manor where cursed spirits wander.
A mysterious employer conceals their identity, and the nun must investigate the estate while encountering its inhabitants. Travelling to different locations during the day provides information and reveals the characters’ pasts. Nighttime events lead toward new futures and multiple story routes. The game includes extensive text, CG illustrations, three main romanceable characters, and a dedicated ending for every character. Its fantasy medieval setting combines supernatural encounters with relationship-focused storytelling and an investigation structure.
