What is The Crown of Leaves?
Follow Roui, a jeweler and writer of scientific magic articles, as he returns to Latori after a major failure.
A commissioned bracelet brings him into contact with the Mad Rook, a spirit that interferes in local lives. The game combines visual-novel storytelling with point-and-click exploration in Shang-La, a fictional world where science and mysticism coexist. Players communicate with characters, form friendships or enemies, collect and craft items, explore the world, and search for hidden clues about the characters and plot. Different routes provide varied story paths. The first of three planned chapters is available; the remaining chapters are planned as paid DLC. The setting includes humans, Sahash, beasts, and ghosts, alongside phones, radio, electricity, swords, and magic.
