The Baconing follows DeathSpank, a justice-focused hero battling Anti-Spank and the Cyborques across a humorous science-fiction adventure.
Players explore unusual locations including the Forbidden Zone, Rainbow’s End, and Hell’s Half Acre, presented in a pop-up book style. The game includes over 100 quests, boss fights, and puzzles. Combat uses the Weapons of Justice alongside abilities such as Shield Bash, Perfect Reflect, and Charged Attacks for battlefield control. Local co-op allows a second player to join the adventure, with four sidekicks available to choose from. The downloadable character Roesha can also accompany DeathSpank during combat and exploration.
