Our take on The Admin
The game focuses its combat around one firearm, one blade, and a limited set of evolving skills. That focused loadout leaves less room for weapon variety, while the branch choices add differentiation within the smaller combat toolkit.
What is The Admin?
The Admin is a single-player, third-person action-adventure game set in a distant future.
The player controls a cyborg defending an abandoned research facility from Star System Government forces, wildlife creatures, and Xenotroops. Combat uses a handgun, sword, and character skills. Weapons can develop into physical or energy variants, with each type offering an advantage against certain enemies. Skills can also be improved and split into one of two branches after reaching a required point, with each branch providing different functions and properties. The game includes three enemy groups: wildlife, government special operations soldiers, and alien Xenotroops. Each group contains five variations with different appearances and approaches to combat.

The Admin compared to similar games
The Admin is a single-player third-person action-adventure built around a handgun, sword, and evolving skills. Apocryph is a first-person sword-and-sorcery shooter, while Feral Fury uses twin-stick shooting and a rogue-lite structure. The Admin therefore differs in viewpoint, setting, and combat format from both alternatives.
