What is Tex Murphy: Overseer?
Tex Murphy, a private investigator trying to make rent, accepts a case involving a woman's father and an apparent suicide.
She believes he was murdered, and the investigation leads to a secret project created by an elite team whose members are being targeted. The story takes Tex through Anasazi ruins, hidden passages, urban landscapes, and Alcatraz Island. Gameplay combines more than 60 puzzles with chases, fistfights, ambushes, and gun battles. Two levels of play are available, along with a complete online hint system. Overseer retells the story from Mean Streets and changes many events and character descriptions from the original. The cast includes Michael York, Rebecca Broussard, Henry Darrow, and Richard Norton.
