Our take on Territory
Enemy activity is adjustable from none to heavy pressure, letting the same survival framework shift between a quieter building experience and a more hostile defense-focused setup.
What is Territory?
Stranded behind enemy lines, the player must gather resources, craft equipment, farm, explore, and collect loot while seeking a route to safety.
A base can be built and fortified against raiders, bandits, visitors, zombies, and wild animals. NPC traders provide a way to exchange loot for needed items. As strength and equipment grow, enemy camps can be raided for additional supplies. Territory supports solo play, hosted cooperative sessions, and hosted player-versus-player sessions through Steam. Enemy appearances and attacks can be adjusted in the settings, including an option to remove enemies or increase their presence. The game is in early access and under active development.
How Territory plays
- 01Configurable Enemy Activity
- Settings allow enemy encounters and attacks to be reduced, removed, or increased.
- 02Base Defense
- Constructed fortifications protect the player’s base from hostile AI groups and animals.
- 03NPC Trading
- Loot can be exchanged with non-player traders for necessary supplies.
- 04Hosted Multiplayer
- Cooperative and player-versus-player sessions run through Steam-hosted games rather than dedicated servers.
- 05Enemy Camp Raids
- Improved equipment and strength open opportunities to attack hostile camps for loot.
