Our take on Days Of Purgatory
The listing foregrounds a broad mix of campaign progression, defenses, classes, and competitive modes, but the game is explicitly unfinished early access. Its planned additions and ongoing adjustments mean the advertised scope does not represent a final feature set.
What is Days Of Purgatory?
Days of Purgatory is an early-access cooperative FPS with roguelike progression.
In the campaign, four players complete randomized objectives, gather supplies, fight demon hordes, and return to Shadwell, where defenses must withstand invasions. Characters gain levels and temporary bullet enhancements, while cash purchases permanent weapon and survival talents. Lost Souls unlock characters, classes, abilities, Orb Modules, and account-level progression. Players can build walls and firing structures, upgrade four defensive Orbs, and power a gateway between levels. Every seventh night brings an army led by one of the horsemen of the apocalypse. Competitive modes include Survival, Deathmatch, and Hide and Seek, with creature hordes and summonable undead armies affecting matches.

Abyssus also combines multiplayer shooting with roguelite progression and combat through levels.
