TAPE: Unveil the Memories follows Iria, a girl living in Antumbria, a northern Spanish town during the 1990s.
After receiving a VHS recording in which her father requests assistance, she explores memories connected to his disappearance. Carrying his former video camera, Iria investigates family secrets and reconstructs the events surrounding his absence. The device also shapes her journey: it can send objects into the past, move them toward the future, or hold them in a frozen moment. Her investigation links personal history to Galician life in that decade, while also examining her father’s career making horror films and the effect that work had on her.
