Our take on Swim Out
Instead of using real-time movement or combat, the game turns swimming into a deliberate puzzle system. Each stroke becomes a planning decision, while other swimmers, objects, and environmental elements replace the genre's usual action-focused obstacles.
What is Swim Out?
Swim Out is a turn-based puzzle game set around swimming pools, rivers, and the sea.
Each level requires planning strokes while avoiding other swimmers' paths. The game contains over 100 levels across 7 chapters, with 12 swimmer types that move in different ways, including breaststroke swimmers, divers, and water-bombing children. Twelve interactive objects include buoys, fins, water guns, and kayaks. Six environmental elements, such as waves, crabs, and jellyfish, alter the challenges. Landscapes are accompanied by sounds including seagulls, frogs, and splashing water.
