Our take on SuperQuest
Enemy encounters are structured around a distinct Trick mechanic: each monster offers a different action that can create a combat advantage before the fight is finished through attacks.
What is SuperQuest?
SuperQuest is a comedy-focused, turn-based RPG about saving the President.
Progress takes place across a series of dungeons containing traps, puzzles, and different monster types. Combat uses a Trick mechanic that gives each enemy specific possible actions: bananas can be taken from monkeys, while skeletons can be approached with jokes. These actions are used to gain an advantage before delivering attacks rather than to negotiate peacefully. Each character also has a TP meter that fills after taking or dealing enough damage. Once charged, it enables that character’s Special Skill, adding another combat option for difficult encounters. The game also includes minecart hazards, explosions, and other comedic situations.
How SuperQuest plays

- 02TP special skills
- Characters charge a TP meter through damage dealt or received, then spend it on a Special Skill.
- 03Dungeon progression
- The adventure moves through multiple dungeons containing traps, puzzles, and monster encounters.
