Our take on SuperLuminauts
Instead of treating missiles as brief projectiles that disappear after impact, the game makes their paths part of the arena. Matches therefore develop through accumulated trails, ricochets, and cascading effects rather than through movement and shooting alone.
What is SuperLuminauts?
SuperLuminauts is a local multiplayer spaceship shooter for 2–4 players.
Missiles leave trails that ricochet, split, and form patterns across the arena, making each round a contest of movement and tactical adaptation. Players can use a keyboard and mouse with another participant, while four-player sessions require at least two controllers. The game includes three modes: Dive, where trails shape a progressively deeper map; Chaotic Anomaly, featuring rapid rounds, a changing arena, accelerating trails, and instant kills after collisions; and Galactic Tour, which builds a session from 25 maps. Ships share the same specifications but can use different paint jobs.
