Our take on Super Blood Hockey
The store presentation gives equal weight to team management, hockey action, gore, and multiplayer, but the management layer is described through a short list of team-care decisions rather than a detailed long-term structure. The result is framed more clearly as an arcade sports game with management elements than as a deep management simulator.
What is Super Blood Hockey?
Super Blood Hockey combines team management with fast arcade-style ice hockey in a dystopian setting.
Players create and recruit a team of inmates, then manage diets, exercise schedules, illegal pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and lineups. Matches focus on skating, positioning, tactics, and violent collisions, with pixelated gore and retro chiptune music. The game includes a global hockey tournament, challenge scenarios such as 4-versus-8 games and manual goalie control, and unusual formats including 12-versus-12 Mega Rumble and Turbo Mode. Local multiplayer supports up to four players. The game can be played with a keyboard, though a gamepad is recommended.
