Our take on Sunstone War
Instead of leaving defenses in place while waves approach, the game makes physical manipulation part of tower defense: towers, obstacles, and enemies can all be carried or thrown. That replaces the genre’s usual fixed battlefield with active repositioning and direct intervention.
What is Sunstone War?
Sunstone War combines action gameplay with tower defense.
Players can pick up and reposition towers, remove obstacles, and throw enemies across the battlefield while protecting a village. Levels support multiple completion methods, with foes including fast attackers, enemies that summon reinforcements, and invisible enemies that require real-time decisions. An upgrade system raises speed, endurance, and tower power, while two special abilities add further options during battles. The campaign spans 3 biomes and includes 60+ challenging levels, with stated play time of 5-8 hours. The game presents an active form of tower defense rather than a static setup, and it does not include infinite replayability.
