Our take on Sunday Gold
Composure is part of the mission alongside combat: pressure can make characters act impulsively, while consumables and leadership abilities can help maintain control.
What is Sunday Gold?
Sunday Gold is a point-and-click, turn-based adventure set in a dystopian near-future London.
Frank, Sally, and Gavin form a trio of criminals pursuing Kenny Hogan, a corrupt billionaire, and his corporation. Progress combines room exploration with observation, deduction, and inventory puzzles. Players can search for clues, hack terminals, break through doors, and complete mini-games associated with each character. Turn-based RPG battles give the team member distinct skills, strengths, and weaknesses to manage. Pressure also affects composure, and characters may act impulsively when it falls. Consumables and leadership abilities can help maintain composure. The story uses fully voiced characters, hand-drawn environments, 2D cinematics, and comic-inspired sequences.
