Our take on SUGAMENIA
The defining mechanic is Suichi, a flying robot companion that doubles as a platform and launches bombs, making it central to both traversal and puzzle-solving.
What is SUGAMENIA?
SUGAMENIA is a 2D action platformer about Violet, a space explorer stranded on an unfamiliar planet.
Move through a large map, fight colorful enemies with a weapon, and use jumps to navigate the terrain. Violet is accompanied by Suichi, a flying robot that can carry her to elevated areas as a platform and launch bombs that roll into tight spaces. The robot also gives advice and helps locate hidden objects, including items that can improve health. Puzzle mechanics are part of the route through the adventure, alongside dangerous areas and challenging bosses. The game uses pixel-art visuals with a retro console look and original chiptune music.
