Our take on Stratus: Battle For The Sky
Instead of keeping the commander away from direct danger, the game makes the high priest both the player's avatar and the enemy's capture target. Its floating-island battles also replace conventional ground maps with bridge-linked vertical terrain.
What is Stratus: Battle For The Sky?
Command a high priest in a fantasy real-time strategy game set among floating islands and perpetual storms.
Choose a Tempest through temple construction, then use the priest to cast spells and support faction units. Build workshops, power generators, bridges, and rain-powered resource collectors while expanding between islands. The early-access release includes a lobby with battle rings and settings for world size, island size, and island count. Players can host or join battles, with testing reported for up to 7 players. Current faction content includes Sun and Rain unit designs, including Rain faction ice cannons and spawning pools. Priest capture, altar-based victory, additional factions, interface work, and other fixes are stated as future development.
