What is Stay?
Play as Cas, a motel maid caught in a story of obsession, love, terror, and survival.
A stalker sends threatening letters that reveal his distorted view of affection and his growing desperation to possess her. Players can hide and use stealth, or collect weapons and fight back. Exploration affects the outcome, with four different endings based on how the game is played. The game uses low-poly PSX-style graphics, stationary third-person cameras, and tank controls, while a dynamic camera is also available. Controller play is intended. The letters contain disturbing material based on messages written to real women and collected through surveys. The game includes gore and mentions or depictions of assault.
