Play it if you…
Good fit- Science-fiction explorers who want planetary discovery alongside base building
- Players interested in managing settlements who also want a search-driven story
- Fans of space exploration who want industry and trade as part of the experience
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a tightly linear story may find the open-ended mix of exploration, building, trade, and colony work unfocused.
- Those who want action centered on frequent combat may find the described activities focus more on exploration and settlement tasks.
- Players seeking a class-based MMORPG or boss-focused progression may not find those systems in the described gameplay.
Our take on StarsOne
Players who want a clear, mission-by-mission route may hit a wall once the initial crash leads into several open tasks: building a base, searching for people, restoring the settlement, and continuing exploration. The description does not establish a single next objective among those systems.
What is StarsOne?
Explore randomly generated planets, develop industry, trade, and establish colonies in a science-fiction setting.
After a spaceship loses contact with Earth and begins falling toward a planet, its crew evacuates in manually operated escape pods and lands across separate regions. As the character, build a base, investigate the ship’s breakdown, and search for crew members and missing pilgrims. The settlement also needs to be restored and protected as space exploration continues. The story begins with a mission to find survivors from an earlier colony whose connection to Earth was lost after terraforming and settlement.
How StarsOne plays
