What is Stars Die?
Stars Die is a nonlinear science-fiction mystery set on a dying world, where a flesh-built cathedral has emerged in the ocean.
A small group of scientists investigates the structure while a mysterious woman confronts an impossible task. The story unfolds in real time through branching conversations and five connected but separate narrative threads, each with its own ending. Characters pursue individual agendas and may act whether or not the player intervenes.
Environments can be explored at an individual pace, although the main game includes a time limit. Decisions focus on competing ideologies rather than conventional moral choices. The Steam version adds expanded story content, revised dialogue, a secret ending, an optional mode without time limits, save-system changes, and display and text-size options.
