Our take on Stacking
The focus on doll abilities and puzzle solving leaves less room for combat-centered play. Its collection and display systems add a cataloging layer, but players seeking a broader action-adventure mix may find the design narrow.
What is Stacking?
Play as Charlie Blackmore, a tiny Russian stacking doll who sets out to rescue his family from the industrialist known as the Baron.
Explore locations including a Royal Train Station and a Zeppelin while entering more than 100 dolls, each with a special ability. Use these abilities to solve puzzles and challenges, with multiple possible solutions in some situations. Collect dolls and matching sets for display in Charlie’s hidden room, which records his adventures. The PC edition includes The Lost Hobo King expansion, adding an adventure in Camelfoot, three tests of valor, new dolls, and further challenges. It also includes a concept-art browser exclusive to the PC version.
