Our take on SpyParty
Rather than treating espionage as armed action, the game makes concealment and observation the central contest. One player performs ordinary party behavior while pursuing covert objectives; the other wins through patient surveillance and a single decisive shot.
What is SpyParty?
SpyParty is a competitive espionage game built around observation, deception, and human behavior rather than armed combat.
In the main online mode, one player acts as the Spy, blending into a high-society cocktail party while completing missions. The other plays the Sniper, watching the guests and trying to identify the Spy with a single bullet. Players read behavioral tells, perform deceptive actions, and manage the risk of completing objectives in view of the opponent. The game currently centers on 1v1 Spy versus Sniper matches, with limited single-player Sniper play and practice modes for both roles. A non-Steam macOS version continues to work, while the Steam macOS port is planned after SEA launch.
How SpyParty plays
- 01Spy Versus Sniper
- Online matches pair one player completing covert missions with another observing the party for suspicious behavior.
- 02Behavioral Detection
- The Sniper searches for subtle actions and tells that distinguish the Spy from other guests.
- 03Practice Modes
- Single-player practice supports trying missions with both the Spy and Sniper roles.
- 04Limited Solo Play
- Single-player Sniper gameplay is available outside the main competitive mode.
