What is Spoids?
Spoids is a tower defense game in which players command a remote space station and answer distress calls across different planets.
Each mission presents objectives alongside a continuing assault from invading Spoids. Completing objectives earns medals, with higher medal levels providing greater progression. After earning at least a Gold medal on a planet, an unlimited wave mode becomes available, allowing survival attempts and high-score chasing on that map. The game introduces several enemy and weapon types, while additional towers become available as new threats appear. Missions include voice acting for their characters. Play is available with mouse and keyboard or an Xbox controller. Achievements and Steam trading cards provide additional collection goals.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative tower defense with action RPG systems such as loot, leveling, pets, and character customization. Anomaly: Warzone Earth reverses the tower defense formula, placing players in an action-strategy role against alien-held cities rather than directing a conventional defensive station.
