Our take on Splash Cars
Rather than treating racing as a contest built around track position, the game makes environmental recoloring the central activity. Driving changes the scenery directly, while authorities, recruitable drivers, and size-altering power-ups turn the race into a moving act of neighborhood transformation.
What is Splash Cars?
Splash Cars is an isometric driving game set in grey neighborhoods.
Driving spreads paint from the vehicle, recoloring streets, grass, trees, buildings, and other parts of each map. Races involve evading authorities while converting non-player drivers to the player’s cause. Progression includes challenges in new neighborhoods, with solo play and cooperative multiplayer available. A selection of cars and custom paint jobs changes the player’s presentation, while power-ups can interfere with pursuers or alter the vehicle’s size. The game combines freeform driving with a goal of recoloring each area, and supports play on Steam Deck.

Splash Cars compared to similar games
Splash Cars centers on recoloring isometric neighborhoods, evading authorities, and recruiting non-player drivers, unlike KartKraft™, which focuses on karting across race tracks.
