Our take on Space Cats Tactics
Its defining structure is the split between large-grid, turn-based space battles and real-time ship management, with crew members assigned to rooms that affect tactical options.
What is Space Cats Tactics?
Space Cats Tactics combines grid-based, turn-based spaceship combat with real-time movement between combat and ship-management views.
Assign feline crew members to specialized rooms, activate their abilities, buy rooms, and upgrade them to shape the ship for different approaches. Battles use Action Points for weapons, attacks, special abilities, and consumables on large grid maps, often against stronger numbers. Exploration includes asteroid mining, gas clouds, distressed ships, derelicts, and random encounters. The space-opera campaign follows Captain Mitzi, a mercenary cat caught in a government pursuit, with choices that can lead toward heroism, piracy, negotiation, or combat and produce different encounter outcomes.
