Our take on SOS: SPECIAL OPERATIVE STORIES
Rather than following a single continuous mission, the game frames its action through an older operative’s recollections. Objects in his study open separate episodes from different years, replacing a conventional linear campaign with a set of connected career stories.
What is SOS: SPECIAL OPERATIVE STORIES?
A story-driven action adventure follows a retired special operative whose memories unfold during a weekend visit to his manor.
Objects in his study open episodes from different periods of his career, with two stories available at launch: a 1982 mission against the Steel Hand Army and a 1987 rescue operation at a rogue science lab. Combat combines firearms, grenades, evasive rolls, destructible surroundings, and sudden shifts between quiet tension and explosive encounters. The protagonist is vulnerable to bullets, blasts, and his own explosives, while groups of enemies can overwhelm him. Tough bosses punctuate the campaign, alongside soldiers, tanks, dogs, and other threats.
