We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- VR players seeking a casual fruit-sorting activity
- Players who enjoy hand-eye coordination tasks involving moving objects
- Adults teaching children how to sort fruit
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking varied gameplay may hit a wall once the fruit-sorting routine becomes familiar.
- Players who dislike countdowns may bounce off the time attack mode.
- Players without HTC Vive or Oculus Rift+Touch hardware cannot use the listed headset support.
Our take on Sort 'Em
The bounce point is the sorting loop itself: players looking for a broader range of activities may stop once placing fruit in bins becomes repetitive. Time-averse players may also leave at the countdown in time attack.
What is Sort 'Em?
Sort 'Em casts players as fruit workers in a local grocery store.
Apples, oranges, strawberries, and other produce arrive on a conveyor belt and must be placed into bins to keep the store stocked. Later levels add new fruit, special items, trick shots, and other challenges. A child can remove fruit from the belt and reduce the score, while a candy bar distracts him. Players can progress through the levels or choose time attack, sorting as much fruit as possible before the timer ends. The game supports HTC Vive and Oculus Rift+Touch and presents sorting as a hand-eye coordination activity.
