RPGIs Song Of The Prairie worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Farming-game fans who want crop growing alongside farm decoration and town-building tasks.
- Players seeking a rural-life game with relationships and dateable town residents.
- Exploration-focused players who prefer non-linear missions and optional objectives.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a tightly directed mission sequence may find the non-linear objectives too open-ended.
- Players seeking combat-focused gameplay may find the emphasis on farming, town development, and relationships a poor match.
- Players who want a game without relationship-building may not want to explore residents’ stories or ask them on dates.
Our take on Song Of The Prairie
Rather than centering its structure on a hero’s continuing battle, the game shifts to rural life after the hero defeats a demon. Its missions are non-linear, replacing a fixed sequence with farm development, exploration, and relationships.
What is Song Of The Prairie?
Song of the Prairie is a 3D farming game about a hero who leaves a life of conflict for rural life.
Players develop a farm and help shape a prairie town, with non-linear missions that do not all need to be completed. Farming includes several plant growth stages, while crops can become giant when mature. Animals can be raised for production and have special powers. Farm areas can be arranged with decorations, and functional town buildings can be upgraded or modified.
Exploration includes 24 residents, with relationships that can lead to dates. An Inner Space feature reveals details about characters’ preferences, pasts, and hopes. The player avatar’s appearance can be changed at any time, with outfits and accessories acquired through exploration.
