What is Snake Pit?
Snake Pit is a pixel-art puzzle game about guiding a caveman out of a snake-filled pit.
Each stage requires crossing every tile once to unlock the exit, while avoiding snakes and their leader, Medusa. The stages become more complex over time and present a greater challenge. The game includes 30 handcrafted levels, different game mechanics, chiptune sound, Steam Achievements and a speedrun mode. Its setting follows the caveman’s step-by-step attempt to escape the pit and return to freedom.
