Our take on Slyders
The store presentation foregrounds a large arsenal, allies, bosses, and multiple maps, but the core structure remains a series of 15-minute runs. That format may make the game feel closer to a compact survivor-like loop than a full-scale FPS campaign.
What is Slyders?
Slyders is a first-person survivor-like roguelite built around 15-minute runs.
Players control Aryx, a fox fighter riding a battle turtle, as he confronts large enemy forces across Sky World’s floating islands. Combat combines fast movement with active and passive abilities, stat upgrades, special weapons, summoned allies, and deployable turrets. Bosses provide items to collect, while longer-term progression includes Powerups and Weapons. Multiple maps cover different regions of Sky World. The story follows Aryx, Brian, a tiny bear with a jetpack, and resistance fighters attempting to free the islands from an evil overlord and his demon army. Enemy hordes, incoming rockets, and boss encounters shape the combat.
