Our take on Slip & Skid
The bounce point arrives when a race ends and the next phase requires placing hazards or changing track conditions. Players who want uninterrupted driving may find the repeated build-and-race cycle more demanding than the racing itself.
What is Slip & Skid?
Slip & Skid is a physics-based racing game for up to four players online or in local split-screen.
After each lap, players earn points from their finishing positions, then choose and place obstacles, traps, surface changes, or rule modifiers on the track. Races can include asphalt, ice, dirt, mud, concrete, magma, and sand, with vehicle handling changing across surfaces. Driving includes drifting, boosting, jumping, flips, wall driving, and pushing rivals into hazards. A player who reaches the required score must win the following round. Single-player time trials include a ghost on each track. Vehicles can be customized with unlockable accessories, designs, and paints. Friend-only lobbies are available; the game has no matchmaking system.
