What is Skyward Extraction?
Skyward Extraction is a light horror roguelike adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world above a permanent magical storm.
Players enter the shifting Stormwall to recover lost pre-war treasures and complete salvage contracts for the Ranadeen Empire. Safe routes change each day, opening or closing paths to different locations. Gliders cross chasms, while grapple packs reach elevated areas. Gold purchases tools at a supply outpost, and Skystones from completed contracts unlock permanent character upgrades. Ship improvements allow deeper travel into the storm. Ancient locations contain hostile enemies, while Stormbeasts can appear when activity attracts their attention. The game includes co-op multiplayer, proximity voice chat, procedurally generated maps, dungeons, and events, plus numerous equipment pieces.
