What is Skyland 1976?
Skyland 1976 is a first-person survival-horror game about Simon Hopper’s search for his missing sister, Alice.
She disappeared in the Grayson forest on October 15, 1976, near Skyland, a government facility built in the 1950s. Simon suspects facility members were involved, but has spent more than fifteen years without evidence. The story resumes on October 15, 1991, when he investigates the facility. Players collect documents and items to solve puzzles and piece together the story. Survival requires managing hunger, thirst, and Simon’s mental state while facing increasingly strong enemies with limited resources. The developer describes the game as story-focused and estimates about eight hours of play, with longer completion time for beginners.
