Our take on Skelattack
Its focus on action platforming leaves less room for treasure hunting or broader activities outside traversal and combat. The checkpoint structure supports repeated practice of jumps, but the experience remains centered on moving through the Underworld and confronting the human threat.
What is Skelattack?
Skelattack is an action platformer set in the Underworld, an afterlife populated by unusual, friendly, and dangerous inhabitants.
Players control Skully, a newly deceased skeleton living in Aftervale, a hub where the dead spend eternity. When humans attack, kidnap the elder skeleton Elzedon, and pursue the Blue Flame that sustains the spirits of the dead, Skully and his bat companion Imber set out to stop them. Movement and combat involve jumping, slashing, and flapping through the Underworld. The game includes a visually rich art style and a checkpoint system based on Blue Flames. These checkpoints let players practice jumps while progressing through the platforming adventure.
