Our take on Sinking Simulator: Legacy
The defining mechanic is that PNG artwork becomes destructible simulation material, letting players create ships or buildings before subjecting them to sinking, flooding, and other physics-driven damage.
What is Sinking Simulator: Legacy?
Sinking Simulator: Legacy is a sandbox game built around making ships and structures, then wrecking them through soft-body physics.
PNG images provide the objects used in the simulation, with a supplied color palette defining their materials. Scenarios can include sinking the Titanic, destroying the Eiffel Tower, or flooding buildings. Material definitions are stored in a JSON file that can be edited to add new materials. This Steam edition includes four versions of the game, accessible through the Beta tab. It is a downscaled release of the 2013 original for players unable to run the newer Sinking Simulator, and is no longer in active development.
How Sinking Simulator: Legacy plays
